A WEEKLY WORD FROM THE REV.

The Ministry of Bounce

What a deep joy and blessing it was to minister to many beloved siblings (and not a few godless tutters and headshakers) at the Christian Resources Exhibition 2003. Held annually in a shocking den of gambling and horses, "CRE" (as it is affectionately known) is a blessed opportunity to immerse oneself totally in our sacred subculture for a day.

Sample Jesus Is Coming coasters and Where Would Jesus Click mousemats from the Keirasthai workshop. Hear the latest CDs from the Tim Splendid worship trio, "I Know His Name" and "For the Last Time of Asking - Revival Songs '03". Discover the ministry of poledancing evangelist Nina Goth.

And then return home, tired and slightly nauseous but refreshed and elated with a renewed vision of what the Lord can do in your own local outlet.

My own humble role was to launch the world's first inflatable church, with a sacred songwriting seminar. And what an honour and a deep joy it was to have me there.

And appropriate too, for the Christian Resources Exhibition. For who else is such a Christian as I, who else resources the flock so nourishingly, and who else is better equipped to exhibit himself for the emulation and encouragement of all?

For a full report, please visit The Wibsite, and not BBC World Service whose enemies of the Way denounce the work of the Lord through me as "some kind of spiritual cabaret".
